The manganese industry is an important foundational raw material industry for China's metallurgical industry and new energy and new materials industry. It runs through the entire chain from mine resources, alloy smelting, steel manufacturing, new energy batteries to deep processing, and holds significant strategic importance for ensuring the stable operation of the industry and supporting the high-quality development of the manufacturing sector. At present, the domestic and international macroeconomy is continuously adjusting, the supply and demand pattern of raw materials is reshaping, environmental protection and energy consumption policies are deepening continuously, and the demand structure of downstream steel and new energy markets is accelerating its iteration. The manganese industry is at a critical stage of capacity optimization, green transformation, market reconstruction, and cross-border integration.
To comprehensively assess the market trends of the manganese industry from 2026 to 2027, analyze the latest policy guidance, smooth the supply and demand connection channels between upstream and downstream, and promote the green and low-carbon upgrading and high-quality coordinated development of the industry, the organizing committee has decided to hold the "FerroAlloyNet 29th International Manganese Industry & New Energy Development Conference" in Chongqing, China from September 15th to 17th, 2026.
This conference has been held for 28 consecutive years and has been refined and optimized, it is an annual benchmark industry event with strong authority, wide coverage and high participation in the domestic manganese industry. We will invite over 400 representatives from the manganese industry from more than 20 countries including South Africa, Australia, Gabon, Ghana, Brazil, India, Myanmar, Cote d'Ivoire, Malaysia, Türkiye, Morocco, Pakistan, Namibia, Zambia and Nigeria to gather in Chongqing to explore new opportunities in the manganese industry and promote coordinated development.
